Shopping online for parts and accessories for your Mercedes-Benz 560 SEL? The internal part number nomenclature that Mercedes-Benz uses can get confusing. Not to worry. We not only have what you need, at up to 35% off MSRP. We also make finding it a lot easier.

Know, first off, that the 560 SEL was a sedan in the greater Mercedes-Benz Series 126 line of cars (designated V 126 E 56), alongside models like the Mercedes-Benz 500 SEL. That means Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Secondly, though the line may have run from 1985 to 1992, if you're driving a 560 SEL model today, there's a good chance it's from between 1986 and 1991. There were three variants available -- just be sure of which one you've got.

Two, a 560 SEL "base" and a special protection-version 560 SEL, ran between 1985 and 1992 (the latter was available for 1992 only). They both had 5.6-liter V8 engines with light-alloy blocks, paired with four-speed automatic transmissions. Both engines made 272 horsepower (with a catalyst, 242 horsepower); from late 1987 on, though, the engines made 300 horsepower (279 horsepower with a catalyst). The third model was an ECE version of the 560 SEL; it was available between 1985 and 1987, and it had the same engine and transmission specs, although slightly more output: 300 horsepower.

Also, keep in mind that, though Mercedes-Benz Series 140 succeeded the 560 SEL in 1991, some continued to sell afterward. Either way, all you have to do is select your model year, and you can start browsing. Since we sell only OEM parts and accessories made by Mercedes-Benz specifically for your luxury car, only what's compatible will show up. That's especially helpful if you're, say, trying to find replacement parts for those that are common problems for the car -- fuel system parts, window regulators, heater parts, and such.
